This D.iy. The remains of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson and children, and four persons unclaimed by relatives or friends, were interred m the cemetery on Saturday. The procession was one of the largest ever seen here, and the crowd at the cemetery was immense. A deputation from the unemployed waited on the Mayor on Saturday, asking that a large number of laborers and skilled artizans were quite uualile to obtain employment though prepared to do any work. The Mayor said the Corporation would do all m its power to provide work. The Harbor Board would commence a half tide wall m about a fortnight, and as soon as the Windsor section of the Oaniaru Livingstone Railway was commenced it would give great relief. A meeting of the unemployed will be held to-night. GRAHAMSTOWN. This Day. The tribes of Hauraki have given their decision, leaving the Government " as you were." They tell the would-be assassins to be good boys for the future, or they will be handed over to the law, but seem to have no intention of handing them over now, although pressed by the Native agent. The Native Minister has been communicated with, but by the time any instructions can be received from him, the culprits will have disappeared and so another farce will have ended.
