TT"NDER and m pnrsannce of. the LJ powers and authorities vested m me by an Act of the Province of Auckland intituled "The- Highways Act, 1874," and by "The Abolition of Provinces Act, 1875," I, Hercules George Robert Robinson, tho Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, hereby, notify that I do hdsreby create that portion of the Provincial District of Auckland described m the Schedule hereto a new highway district, under the said " Highways Act, 1874," by the distinctive name of the Poverty Bay Highway District, and I declare that the boundaries of the said district shall be those described m the Schedule hereto. SCHEDULE Bounded towards the North by the Southern boundary of the Ormond Highway District, from the Waipaoa River to the western boundary of the Whataupoko Block ; towards the East by the Taruheru River, nnd part of the western boundary of the Borough of fliabome to the sea ; towards the South by the sea to the mouth of the Waipaoa River ; and towards the West by the Waipaoa River to the Southern boundary of the Ormond Highway District aforesaid, the place of commencement.
