LONDON. Tuesday. News from Afghanistan states that there is great; mortality amongst the camels en route for the campaign. Which causes difficulties of transport and delaying a safe renewal of hostilities. It is proposed to co-operate simultaneously with Jellalbad, Candahar and Earan. Russian papers unanimously express an opinion that the conquest of Afghanistan is imperative, but a fatal necessity to England. At the wool sales to-day, 9400 bales were catalogued. The tone of the market shows but a moderate inquiry. ST. PETERSBURG. Tuesday. The Russian press urges partition of Afghanistan between England and Russia. A great fire broke out at Yiaznia, when 200 houses were burnt. BOMBAY. Tuesday. The massacre proves to be due to fanaticism. Hostile signs preceded the outbreak.
