TT"NDER and in pursuance of the LJ powers and authorities vested in n\d by an Act of the Proviiico of Auckland intituled the " The Highways Act, 1874," and by "The Abolition of Provinces Act, 1875," I, Hercules George Robert Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of Now Zealand, hereby notify that I do hereby create that portion of the Provincial District of Auckland described in the Schedule hereto a new hicrhway district, under the said Highways Act, 1874," by the distinctive name of the Patutahi Highway District, and I declare that the boundaries of the said district shall be thoße defined in the Schedule hereto. SCHEDULE. BotnraED towards the North by part of the sonthern boundary of the Okahuatiu . No. 1 Block, and the Bouth-westem and southern boundaries of the Repongaere Block from the easternmost angle of the first-named block to the Waipaoa Riveie towards the East by the Waipaoa River aforesaid, from its confluence with the AVaikaahu River to its confluence with the Arai River ; towards the South-east by the Arai River aforesaid, and part of the southern boundary of the PatufcUu Block, to Trig. Station No. 130 ; towards the South- west by * part of the northern boundary of the Whakaongaonga Block, from t'ae point last, named to the Hangaroa River ; towards the West by the Hangaroa River to the north-western boundary of the Patutahi Block ; and towards the North-west by the north-western boundary of the lastnamed block to the eastermost angle of the Okahuatiu No. 1 Block first mentioned, the place of commencement.
