ARRIVALS.
28 Advance, schooner, from Tairoa, with a cargo of timber consigned to Messrs. King and Co. In a former shipping paragraph we mentioned that the Union Co.'s fine boat the Penguin was to have her name changed. It is now found that by an Imperial Act, no ship or steamer once registered in a name, can be altered for any other. There are many and obvious reasons why the Act is a very proper and necessary one.
