A Rumour is ciirrient that the Hon. Mr. Macandrew and the Hon. Mr. Sheehan niav be expected here during the week, and we shall hail their arrival with satisfaction. It is •well, known we are opposed .to the present Ministry, and it would be impossible for anyone having the welfare-and prosperity of this magnificent district at heart not to be so. We cannot shake from our remembrance the fact that during the time the GiiEY Ministry have been m office; an' enormous sum has been at their disposal for Public Works. That this sum has been expended without the slightest attention being paid to. the crying wants of this as well as other out-districts m the Nprj&r.l^aud. We have said" we shall hail - their arrival with satisfaction, and we shall do so for the reason that they will be invited to visit the township /of Ormond; and we feel conviuced that if they do not perform; the . promises that they will then make, about that Slough of Despond — the Ormond road — they will at atiy rate never have the effroutery to prevent iiuotheY ministry fix>uV giving 1 thY lohg delayed assistance.. which is important to the salvation of that district.
