NAPIER.

This Day. A meeting of creditors m the affair of Stuart and 00., Spit, was held yesterday. An offer was made of 12s. m the £, guaranteed, and 3s. not guaranteed. The meeting postponed its decision to afford the colonial creditors at a distance an opportunity of expressing an opinion. Electioneering matters are very quiet as yet ; but private meetings are being held on both sides, and as soon as Parliament is dissolved the fight will begin, and is expected to be fast and furious.
