It is rumored m the lobbies that committees appointed to^ investigate the alleged tampering with tho Thames Railway map, have made some startling discoveries by examining witnesses on oath. It is said to have been thus proved that the. map was altered after being laid on the table of the House, and that the alteration was -made by the order of Mr. Macandrew m compliance with repeated solicitations of the Premier.
