Mr. Wakefield's speech on Wednesday night occupied three hours. It was a masterly speech, though encumbered with rather too. many details. He referred pointedly to Mr. Macandrew, and made so many direct accusations against him, that necessity for reply was obvious, and as Macandrew could not do it, as it was half- past one o'clock m the morning, all chance of a division was over. When the debate was resumed yesterday afternoon, it became evident that neither party was so very aaxious for a division, and that long speeches were contemplated.
