WELLINGTON.

This Day. The last batch of Natives arrested at Taranaki arrived this morning. Those sent from Opunake, without being committed for trial, fourteen m number, were brought before Mr. Mansford, R.M., yesterday. Five of them were committed on a charge of entering upon and ploughing land, the property of Her Majesty, and three of those five, together with the other nine, were committed for breaking down Bailey's fence with hatchets, axes, and spades. They are a fine-looking lot of young men, and do not appear to mind being m custody.
