JULY. g" 17— Hawea, for Napier and. Southern Ports. Passengers : Messrs. Townley, and Martin, Mrs. S. M. Wilson, and White. 17 — Lady Bird, for Auckland. Passengers : Mrs. Dugleanx, Messrs. King, Kennedy (2), and Murphy.
Tlie s.s. Ladybird left Port Chalmers at 2 p.m. Friday, 11th, and arrived at Akaroa at 6.30 a.m., Saturday ; sailed again at 8.30 and arrived at Lyttleton at 1 p m. ; left a«ain at 10.30 p.m., arriving m Wellington at 3 rj.ni. Sunday ; sailed again Monday at 2 p.m., but anchored inside the Heads all night 'in^consequence of heavy weather; made a start again at 7-30 Tuesday, and arrived at Napier 7 a.m, Wednesday ; sailed again at 5 p.m., and arrived m the Bay at 7 this morning.
