May 22. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, replying to a question, said the British Government are still urging upon the Turkish Government to accept Greek frontier as recommended by Congress of Berlin. The Under Secretary for India, in submitting the Indian Budget, announced a considerable saving of expenditure over the estimated amount, and that a loan had been issued in England, limited to five millions.
