Petition not granted. Keita Waeri (Mrs Wyllie).— -Similar to Mrs Read's regarding Arai-Matawai reserve. Same reply. ; ; Robert Cooper.— That relief shouldbe afforded him for the action of the Government m regard to the Waingaronuia No. 2 Block. — Report : — "The Committee recommend (although they have arrived at this concluson with some reluctance) that, as a means to this end, the re-hearing for which applications have been made should be gf anted' by the Government, and .an early day fixed for the sitting of a Court to rehear and determine the claims m connection with the land to which a title is attested by Mr. Cooper. - < - ' E. F. Harris.— -For compensation for Taputoho portion of Patutahi. Recommend to the consideration of Government for consideration and 'enquiry. Gtene Wiwini and Others. • — For por-r tion of Patutahi. Wi Pere and Others.— For further compensation for carved house now* at Wellington, taken from Poverty Bay for which £100 was paid.
