GRAHAMSTOWN.
This Day. The effect of the abolition of duty on timber imported into New Zealand, is just beginning to be felt by the local sawmills. One firm, that of Bagnall Bros., employing over 150 men, are determined to shut up their mill at the end of the month, should the present state of affairs continue. It was the highest tide for years last night, several establishments have been flooded.
