This Day. It is rumored that Hane Pihatia has now a leaning towards Te Whiti, and is sending supplies of threshed corn grown ; b'y him near Nowmauby to Parihaka. Hone Pihana also ordered all the natives over whom he has influence, and who are m receipt of rent from the reserves to ■ pay the same to Te Whiti. A native relative of Te Whiti named Pihana, who on the occasion of the Native Minister's last v^sit to; Parihaka was informed he had been niade'Native Assessor, fell from^hi^Jborse and was killed on Friday.
