Mails close as follows :— For Tauranga and Auckland, per s.«. Wanaka, on Tuesday next, at 5 p.m. For Napier and Southern Ports, per s.s. Ladybird, on Wednesday next, at 4 .m. For Te Mawhai, Aku Aku, Tuparoa, Awanui, and Wharekahika, every other Friday. For Matawhero, and Whakato, every Thursday, at 2 p.m. For Tologa Bay and East Coast, every Friday, at 3 p.m. For Makaraka, Waerenga-a-hika, Ormond, and the Willows, every Tuesday and Saturday, at 2 p.m. San Francisco Mail. Arrives in Auckland April 9. Leaves Auckland : April 1. Suez Mail. Arrives in Wellington : April 6. Leaves Wellington : April 11. Registered Letters, Money Orders, and Newspapers close one hour previous to letter mail.
