AUCKLAND.

This Day. During the past month, dysentary and whooping cough have been very prevalent in Auckland. There has been 19 deaths of children under 1 year, and 15 deaths under 2 yearn. A telegram received on Saturday by the Auckland Timber Company from their mill at Whangaroa, stating that a heavy fresh had occurred down in the creeks there, and brought down upwards of two thousand logs estimated to contain over seven millions feet of timber.
