CHRISTCHURCH.

April 2. This morning the stable and coachhouse at Mr. Reece's, at Sydenham, was burnt. The Christchurch Brigade went with their steam-engine, and saved the dwellings-house. The Btables were insured for £400. This is the eighteenth fire in or near Christchurch in less than six weeks. A destructive fire took place this morning at the homestead of Mr. Innes, near Meunt Brown, by which the combined machine and elevator, the property of Mr. J. Dalziell, was consumed. Two large stacks of wheat, the property of Messrs. Innes, and also a lot of grain that had just been threshed, was destroyed. Dalziell's property was insured in the South British for £200. ; Mr. Innes's loss is not covered.
