THE HON MR. FOX.
Puring the course of Mr. Fox's leoture (says the Bruce Herald,) a well-known and popular hotelkeeper m Milton asked if a publican could become a member of the Alliance, by paying five uhillings a year. " Yes," was the rejoinder, "Although it comes from what I call a dirty source." The question was a foolish one. The reply an insolent one. But Mr. Fox cannot be said to be answerable either for his words or his actions when he is on matters teetotal.
