' 'This Day. A large" 1 Expedition started from here for New, Guinea, under the auspices of Baron M'Leay, the Russian scientist, and New Guinea traveller. The steamer Wonga Wonga has been purchased for a floating hotel during the Exhibition. Mr. Suttor, ex-Minister, resigns his seat in the Assembly, alleging that he is convinced that a mean, cringing servility is requisite to sustain a Minister's popularity.
