THE TAUPO.
The Herald says:— "A strange story reaches us m connection with the buoys about which there was so much said during the Taupo inquiry. It appears that on his way to Auckland m the Rowena, Captain Johnson stopped at the Mount, and went round the buoy with Captain Sellass. So convinced was he of their being m the wrong 1 position that on his return to the steamer he sat down at once and wrote to the Harbour Master, ordering him to remove them immediately to the spot pointed out by Captain Sellars. Comment is needless."
