SYDNEY.

This Day. A large open air meeting of an-anti-Chinese character was held in the Domain last night, and another is called for this evening. Sir Hercules Robinson departed today for New Zealand in H.M.S. Emerald, accompanied by Commodore Wilson in the Wolverine. Prior to the departure of his Excellency he held a farewell levee, which was attended by a large number of persons. Farewell addresses were presented to him from both Houses of Parliament. Sir Alfred Stephen assumes the position of Lieutenant-Governor to-mor-row. There were thousands of persona present to witness Governor Robinson's departure.
