This' Day. .At a meeting of the Education Board yestqrday, a communication was received from the head master of. the Gisborne Schsol, applying for a continuance of salary on tne scale of December last, notwithstanding the average attendance of that month 1 had not yet been reached m consequence of the prevalence of sickness in;the district. The matter was postponed peihding application on the subject from the School Committee.
