Thia Day. A respectable married woman was knocked down and assaulted yesternight, when returning home m Durham street south. A passer-by gave chase, and followed the miscreant to a house where he was arrested. His name is William Manners. The first silk l)om introduced into the colony was set working yesterday m Manchester street. It ia intended to manufacture silk ribbon. It weaves four bands at a time, and picture and other patterns on silk. It was imported by C. Mazey from Wilkinson, loom maker, Ooventr}'.
