LONDON.
March 9. Negotiations for the purchase of the Australian cable for use, connecting Aden and Natal, is broken oft temporarily, but a favorable issue expected. The Board of Trade returns exports for last month are very unfavorable. The Polytechnic Hall has been totally burned down. Wheat half-penny lower, and tallow also fallen a half-penny. A treaty has been concluded between Germany and Samoa, but its text is kept secret. Graham Berry, the Victorian Ambassador, has written a letter to the Banks, stating that the balance of Loan will not be offered for eighteen months.
