This Day. John McLauohlan was charged at the R M's Court to-day, with attempting to defraud his creditors. It appeared that at the time he filed his schedule, the accused withheld b, sum of £21, not thinking as was firstfstated m his defence that the money was property. He spent a portion of the money, but when subsequently asked for it handed over the balance of some £6. Mr. O'Meagher, for the defence contended that the witholding of the money was solely owing to ignorance and that nothing fraudulent was intended. The bench took time to consider the decision.
