March 4. The newly appointed Harbour Board held their first meeting yesterday. It was merely a formal matter, as the Board evidently have to wait until something turns up. Mr. Burton was elected chairman. Mr. Maney resigned the County Chairmanship according to promise, that lie would do so when all contested elections were over and a full meeting held. He was re-elected. Bishop Stuart gave a lecture last night on India, which was well attended. Tenders for the erection of an Anglican Church site have been accepted.
