Mails close as follows : — For Napier and the South, per Kangatira, Tuesday next, at 4 p.m. For Taurauga ami Auckland, per s.s. Wanaka, ou Tuesday next, at 5 p.m. For Hobart Town, Melbourne, via Napier au<l South, per s.s. Rotorua, on Wednesday next, at 4 p.m. For United Kingdom and the Continent of Europe, via San Francisco, per Tarorua, on Saturday, Ist March, at 5 p.m. Fdr Tauranga and Auckland, per Tararua, on Saturday, Ist March, at 5 p.m. Registered letters, Money Orders, and Newspapers close one hour previous to letter mail. For Tologa Bay and East Coast, every Friday, at 3 p.m. For Makaraka, Waerenga-a-hika, Orin'ond, anil the Willows, every Tuesday and Saturday, at 2 p.m. For Matawhero, and Whakato, every Thursday, at 2 p.m. For Te Mawhai, Aku Aku, Tuparoa, Awanui, and Wharekahika, every other Friday, at 3 p.m.
