MELBOURNE.
February 22. A Gazette contains a notification, asking the public to disbelieve the Argus reports of official information, being denied that paper in consequence of its efforts to depreciate Victoria's credit. Governor Bowen and family left today by the Suez mail steamer for the Mauritius. His Excellency was accorded usual honors.
