This Day. A deputation interviewed the Deputy-Postmaster-General to-day, regarding prohibition of the use of a code of figures in cable messages through Europe. The deputation stated the prohibition was an inconvenience to merchants in the colonies. The Deputy Postmaster-General promised to take steps in the matter at the representative of the colonies at the International Conference, to be held in J uly next.
