Tins Day. Mr. MacAndrevv has received a communication from the Agent-General, to the effect that efforts, which are likely to
be successful, are being made to float a company m London to work the Para Para Iron Works, and manufacture rails for New Zealand Railways. Sir Julius Yogel ia taking a personal interest m the matter. The Fire Brigade threaten to disband, and have advertised their plant for sale, owing to the insufficient support from the Corporation.
