AUCKLAND.
This Day. The funeral of Major Gordon took place yesterday. His remains were interred m the Presbyterian Cemetery m the presence of a large attendance of friends and volunteers, the latter under command of Major Derom. An important discovery has been made m the Little Agnes claim, at the Thames. The discovery consists of gold, silver, and lead m large quantities.
