CRICKET MATCH.
ORMOND V GISBORNE CoLTS. An eleven of the Gisborne Colts proceeded to Ormond on Saturday last, to try conclusions with a like number of Ormond cricketers. Gisborne won the toss, and sent their opponents to the wickets, when they were all disposed of for 44 runs. Gisborne then handled the willow, and the last man was not out until the score reached 86. Ormond again went to the wickets, and succeeded m making 54, leaving Gisborne 13 runs to obtain to win. Gisborne then went to the wickets and put 21 together with the loss of 7 wickets, thus winning the match by 9 runs with 3 wickets to spare. The following are the scores : —
