A dull tone prevails, and as compared with the closing rates of last series, present prices show the following decline : On Australian acoured, which form more than 40 per cent, of the whole supply, fully l£d. per Ib. on the best, and 2d. to 2£d. per lb. on tbe medium and inferior sorts ; the large quantity of the latter very heavy of sale. On Australian grease £d. lb. in the most favourable cases, but more frequently and particularly in the New Zealand wools Id. perlb. Tallow.— The market for. P. Y.C. has again been very inactive during the month, and prices have further declined to the extent of 6d. to Is. percwt. The The quotations now are 355. 9d. per cwt. on the spot and for December, 365. ; January to March, 365. 3d. to 365. 6d. ; March, 365. 3d. ; April to June ; and 38s. for October to December next year. Bones. — Shank, fair to good, £14 to £18 ss. ; middling and common, £6 10 to £13 ss. ; knuckle bones, £5 10s. to £6 ; piths, £4 to £6 2s. 6d. ; common bones, £5 17s. 6d. to £6 ; hoofs, £7 10s. to £8 15s. per ton.
