TJIERRIS & PITT have received in- -■- structions from the Trustees of the late Capt. G. E. READ to sell as under — ONTHURSDAY, the 16th JANUARY, At their Mart, GISBORNE, At 2 p.m., the following LOTS:— As shown on the plan of the property to be seen at the said Mart. LOT THREE. ALL THAT the Freehold Undivided Estate and Interest of the late Geo. E. Read, deceased, of and m the Matawhero B, or No. 5 Block m the Poverty Bay District (the«said Block contains by admeasurement 878 acres more or less). The estimated area thereof, as conveyed to the late Geo. E. ' Read, deceased, by the Native grantaes thereof, contains 350 acres, little more or less, and on the same is situate the Land known as the Hapera Property, late the residence of the said Geo. E. Read, deceased, with Coach-house, Stables, Gardens, Ornanq&ntal Trees, Shrubberies, &c, &c?" The whole is surrounded by a Ring Fence, and subdivided into Paddocks ; and does not include any portion of the 66 acres sold by separate purchasers to the said Geo. E. Read, deceased, situate outside the Hapera Property ; and exclusive also of that portion of the property leased to Mr. Weston on the W«ikanae, : estimated to contain about 20 acres, portion of the Matawhero B Block. . LOT FOUR. ALL THAT the Freehold Undivided Estate and Interest of the late Geo. E. Read, deceased, now m the occupation of his Trustees, m the Block of Land known asthe the Makauri Block m the Poverty Bay District, containing by v estimation out of the said Block 650 acres more or less of fine Land, with large Six-re omed Dwelling-house, Stables and Out-buildings erected thereon, all fenced m, well grassed,, and under cultivation, with sufficient Bush and Water for household purposes, and together with Garden and other appendages thereto, Ibeing the piece of 3jand allotted to the late Geo. E. Rewdeceased, by the adjudication of thASubdivision of the said Block by Judge Rogan^ as Judge of the Native Larid Court, ana"" the Draft Certificate of Title whereof under his hand has been issued. LOT FIVE. ALL THAT the Freehold Undivided Estate and Interest of the late G. E. Read; deceased, m the said Block of land known as the Taruheru Block, m the Poverty Bay District, estimated to contain about 28 acres more or less. Also all that the Leasehold Estate and Interest of the late Geo. ' E. Read, deceased, m the Makauri and Taruheru Blocks, acquired under, anc( by virtue of a Deed of Lease, dated the 22nd day of February, 1870, and expressed to be made between Riperata Kahutia and others of the one part, and R R. Curtis of the other part, whereby the same was leased for a term of 18 years, from the Ist day of January 1870, at a Rental for the first 3 years of £80 per annum ; for the next 5 years of £100 per annum ; for the next 5 years of £200 per annum ; and for the last 5 years of £300 per annum ; payable yearly to the lessors on the Ist of January m each year. All rent up to the 3rd of January 1879, being duly paid, and on which is situate a Brick Dwelling-house or Store adjacent to an excellent Brick Kiln. The estimated area of the Leasehold portion of this Lot consists, of 1279 acres, little more or less deducting thereout 350 acres or thereabouts, Freehold portion of the said Makauri Block, late the property of the late G. E. Read, deceased, and which is comprised m Lot Four at this present sale, and subject also as to 50 acres, portion of the said Taruheru Block Leasehold, underleased to Wi Brown for the balance ot the said term of 18 years, at a nominal rent, and subject also as to 37 acres, other Leasehlold portion of the said Block, to an under lease to George Davis for the like term of 18 yeara, created by the said Deed of Lease, at a rental of £50 per annum, payable quarterly, and subject as to 5 acres other Leasehold portion of the said Block to a Lease to Robert Knox for the like term of 18 years, at a rental of £5 per annum. And also as to 5 acres other portion of this said Block adjoining the said last-mentioned piece to a Lease to William Wilson fori the like term of 18 yeara, at the rental of £5 per annum. And also as to 10 acres or thereabouts other Leasehold portion of the said Block to a Lease to Charles Flexman as fenced m and occupied by him with the wool scouring premises erected thereon for the like term of 18 yeara at a rental of £20 per annum. The above property is well fenced and supplied with water, and is surrounded with boundary fences, and Intersected with Road lines. LOT SIX. ALL THAT Freehold Property known as the Willows, containing by approximate admeasurement 270 acres more or less, and lately m the occupation of the said G. E, Read, deceased. This is one of the finest plots of Agricultural Land, yielding enormous drops pnd some of the finest gsasa seed m the District, and is partially, excepting thereout a portion of the Matawhero No. 1 Block, enclosed m a ring fence sub-divided into numerous paddocks, .with about five | miles of first-class
