Auckland, This Day. The thirty-six half-yearly report and balance-sheet was presented at the meeting of shareholders of the New Zealand Insurance Company yesterday. After making provision for all ascertained losses to date, and carrying £5,000 to Reserve Eund, which now stands at £40,000, there remains a sum of at £14,283 ls. lOd. available for division, which the directors propose to appropriate to the payment of a dividend at the rate of 15 per cent. A £15,000 balance is carried forward.
