DROWNED IN A WELL.
GRAND LODGE OF GOOD TEMPLARS. Napier, Yesterday. A boy named Small fell down a well at Kopua and was drowned. The Grand Lodge of Good Templars (New Zealand Worth) opened yesterday morning m the Protestant Hall, Bro. Hon. W. Fox presiding. The following delegates were present : — Hon. W. Fox, G.W.C.T.,M.H.R. ; Bro. Speight, P.G.W.C.T. ; Bro. Ellis, G.T. ; Bro. Jenkins, G.T. ; Bro. Johnson, G.W.V.T. ; Bro. Hall, G.C. ; Bro. Jaques, Bro. Lyell, G.W.G. ; Bro. Pirani, G.M. ; also the following representatives from the various lodges throughout the colony : — Bros. Jaques, Hoskins, and Treat, Christchurch ; Potts, Taranaki ; Hall and Johnson, Wellington ; Hutchins, Porangahau ; Anderson, Taradale ; Higgs, and Sisters Consitt and Troy, Napier ; Hemus, Macgregor, Witt, Bobb, and Phillips, Auckland.
