AUCKLAND HOSPITAL PRECAUTION
"While the action is not being' taken as a scare, I- have ordered that as from to-night thi! hospital shall be closed ?.i visitors until further notice," said .Mr. Allan Moody, chairman of the Auckland Hospital Heard on Monday, referring lo the outbreak ot spina! meningitis in Northland. "1 understand the outbreak is not ot a. serious nature but in (he interests of all hospital patients a definite stand must be taken. All my advisors agree with the coarse taken. f hope the outbreak will be stamped out speedily. ” Mr. Moody said that as usual the hospital was full to capacity.
