A number of slips on the Omahine end of the Aloinroa Road have been cleared and slips on the Alangawhio Saddle and the various Block Roads have been cleared. At two points on the Omala Road stream diversion cuts have beer, completed and the road at these points should not give furl her trouble. The Village Settlement Rond has been grafK'd and ordinary maintenance attended to where necessary. AVAVK.Ri.KY RIDING: Karahakl Road has been formed fn readiness for Government, grant metalling, and Karahuki Road am! Kola Highway lave been graded. The narrow places on the Mataimoana Road have been widened mid genera! maitenance has been attended to on all roads.
