MILL WORKER INJURED
ACCIDENT in the ranges. BOTH LEGS ;BROKHN. -A Richard Hayes, aged 52 years, a sawmill hand whose home is at Xormatiby. was seriously injured in an accident near the sawmill at the head of Ngariki Road, Rahotu, on .Thursday .morning. A four ton truck used oil the sawmill . tramway ran over both Mr. Hayes’ logs above the ankle. , Examination at New- Blymouth Hospital, to which Air. Hayes was admitted, showed that he had received a compound' fracture of the right leg and a simple fracture of the left leg. ,
