KILLED OUTRIGHT
MOTOR- CYCLIST’B FATE. COLLISION WITH CAR. A motor cyclist named -William John 'Steele, aged T-L employed at Orui Station, Riversdale, Wairarapu, was killed outright on March (i when he collided with a ear on Blairlogic Hill, 17 miles from Mastcrton. A pillion rider •escaped injury. l It is believed Steele came from Dannevirke. Late details show that the pillion rider, named Sullivan and employed at Riversdale Station, suffered facial injuries and shock and was admitted to the Mastcrton Hospital. The driver of the car was Patrick Hugh Scanlan, of Eordell.
