CAR GOES OVER BANK
DRIVER INJURED; WIFE UNHURT ACCIDENT NEAR MASTERTON. A car owned and driven by Mr. vA, S',vain, roadman, Bideford, skidded and toppled over ia .1 lift bank on the Te Fame Road, near Masterton, on Sunday. Mr. Swain was rendered unconscious. His 'wife, who was a passenger in the car, escaped injury. She .managed to climb up the bank and stopped a car driven by Mr. P. J. Borthwick, Masterton, who assisted in getting Air. Swain out of the wrecked car. Air. Borthwick brought the injured man to Masterton, where ho received medical attention.
