FATAL ACCIDENT
WANGANUI WOMAN KILLED,
Au elderly woman-, Mrs. Atkinson, of Carlton Avenue, Gonville, Wanganui, was knocked down and. received fatal injuries when a car drive by Air. W. U. Joll, of Wanganui, was proceeding past the junction of Taupo Quav and Carlton Avenue on Thursday evening. Mrs. Atkinson died on *the way to the hospital in a St. John ambulance. An inquest for identification purposes was opened on Friday.
