“Of all the minor dissipations in which temperate men indulge there is none I think more alluring than the after-breakfast pipe." Bo writes Austin E. Freeman, whose “Dr. Thorndyke" rivals in skill (to say nothing of personality) Sherlock Holmes himself! Ami he’s right! There is, inindoed, no greater pleasure known to the smoker than thb after-breakfast pipe—unless it is the after lunch pipe, the after dinner pipe, or the last pipe of all before turning in! But to extract all the enjoyment possible from pipe or cigarette the tobacco must necessarily be of excellent quality. As to that there arc hundreds of brands in daily use the world over, but none liner, none purer, none with a more delightful bouquet or more exquisite flavour than “Xcw Zealand toasted" —Xavy Cut Xo. 3 (Bulldog), Cavendish, Cut Plug Xo. 10 (Bullshead),' Riverhead Gold, and Desert Gold. Choose any one of these brands—according to the strength preferred—and you'll have .perhaps the most enjoyable smoke you ever indulged in—as well as the safest. The toasting ensures that!
