•KINGSFORD SMITH’S PLANE. “Smithy” was (old that he could not fly his Lockhoad plane, the engine of which lias been sealed. Categorically, “Smithy” has (1) failed to satisfy the Customs authorities; (2) failed to secure a certificate from the American Chamber of Commerce; (11) lauded a foreign machine that docs not comply with the requirements of the international convention of air navigation.
