LOST THREE FINGERS
ACCIDENT' AT WANGANTE With three fingers of his left hand amputated by the blow of an axe, Mr. W. Turnock was admitted to the Wanganui Hospital on Thursday evening. He was working at the Harbour Board Cpiarnes, Tvaiwhaiki, and was holding a piece of wood while mother worker | chopped it. It is understood that the axe slipped, with the result that 7unlock lost three fingers.
