EUCHRE AND DANCE.
OPAKU.
• -* Another of the scries of euchre and dance evenings was held in the Opaku Hull last Friday, the proceeds of which will go towards the hall funds. A good number of residents of Opaku and surrounding districts wore present, everybody enjoying themselves thoroughly. The winners of the euchre were. Ladies, Mrs. T. Hurley; men, Mrs. J. Hurley; ladies’ booby, Mrs. MacDonald; men’s booby, Mr. R. Anderson. A statue waltz was won by Miss S. Horridge and Mr. R. Anderson, and a waltzing competition ,by Miss J. Hurley and Mr. J. Hurley. A daiuty supper was then handed round by tho ladies, after which dancing was continued till the early morning.
