AGED MAN FOUND HANGING
COMMENT AT WAIPAWA INQUEST
An inquest was held , Waipawa into the death of Alexander Edward Steven, aged fiS, builder, an old resident, found hanging - from a rafter in his private motor garage on Monday. A verdict that lie committed suicide while suffering from acute depression was given.
The constable drew attention to the mi.staten idea that the body should not have been touched till the police arrived. Such delay was likely to prove serious in cases of this kind.
