VOYAGE IN TWO SMALL- VESSELS
Siv young men have set out Portsmouth on a daring voyage across the Atlantic in two small boats. Ono of the vessels, the Ahto, a. 21ft sloop, is manned by two brothers, one of whom, Mr. Ahto Walter, took the vessel from the Baltic across the Atlantic and back last year. He and his brother, Yarillo, are Esthonians. The second boat is the Enterprise, a 32ft auxiliary cutter, which carries a crew cf four, consisting of Messrs. C. P. Barber, Ronald Wright, TJ. Iv. Walter, and Erie, Hughes. “There is nothing behind it,” declared Mr. Barber, “we are going for the sheer fun of the thing.” The party proposed to make first for the coast of Spain. They were then to proceed to West Africa and go by way of the West Indies to America;
