The annual general meeting of the Patea Golf Club will be hold in the County Council Chambers on Monday, March 7, at 8 p.m. A reward is offered for the return of a case, containing silver tea service and china, which was probably lost in transit from Bulls to Patou on December 5 last. A lecture will be delivered to town and country residents of Patea interested in the dental clinic by Mr. D. Elliott, Superintendent of the Dental Clinic district, in the Patea Borough Council chambers on Monday, March 7, at 8 p.m. A good attendance' is desired. * All interested are cordially invited to; be present at the Patea Girl Guides ’ Association’s camp fire concert, which is to be held to-night at -7.30 in the Patea Butchery Company’s paddock, opposite the Domain memorial gates. The fortnightly parades of the local machine gun troop were resumed on Wednesday, when there was a fair muster, in spite of counter attractions. The parades will be hold each fortnight until further notice.
